Fancy travelling further afield? The North County Transit District's COASTER trains connect downtown San Diego and Old Town with coastal communities north of the city, including Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad and Oceanside.

Take to the water on the Coronado Ferry, which runs between the Broadway Pier, the Convention Center, and the Coronado Ferry Landing providing gorgeous views of the downtown skyline and the Coronado Bridge.

San Diego Trolley Bus

The low rainfall makes San Diego ideal for biking, so why not use your legs to take you to the best sights in the county? Although the city is still waiting on a bike share, there are plenty of places to rent and bikabout San Diego will show you the way.
